The Pedro family replaced their business with a new park in downtown Saint Paul after a long process. Inspired by the community's desire to "keep their fingers green" and by the gardening legacy of Carl Pedro, Jr (famous for his Iris as a member of the GCRC), the park is designed with extensive gardens that can only be possible in a public park with dedicated neighborhood volunteers.
